About Laurel

Healing begins when we feel safe enough to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with ourselves with honesty and curiosity.

I work primarily with sensitive and introspective adults navigating trauma, relationships, grief, and identity transitions. Many have spent years holding space for others while quietly carrying their own pain, longing for greater self-awareness, emotional clarity, and ease.

My work is grounded in warmth, reflection, embodiment, and creating a space where you do not have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or carry everything alone.

Many clients describe therapy with me as reflective, grounding, emotionally clarifying, and deeply relational.

I am an integrative trauma therapist whose work blends somatic psychology, narrative therapy, depth-oriented exploration, existential reflection, and trauma-informed care.

Outside of psychotherapy, I am also the founder of SoulBody Wellness and host of the Spiritual Friction podcast — spaces dedicated to storytelling, healing, meaningful connection, and authentic conversation.

A Grounded Approach to Healing

Therapy with me is warm, reflective, collaborative, and deeply relational.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we explore the patterns, experiences, relationships, and stories that have shaped how you move through the world.

Together, we slow down with curiosity, listen to the wisdom of your body, put words to experiences that may have felt difficult to name, and create space for greater awareness, integration, and meaningful change.

Many clients describe this work as grounding, emotionally clarifying, and deeply human.

Who I Work With

I specialize in supporting sensitive and introspective adults navigating trauma, relationships, grief, and identity transitions.

Many are people who have spent years holding space for others while quietly carrying their own pain.

Together, we work toward greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, embodiment, authenticity, nervous system regulation, and a more grounded connection with Self.

Somatic & Nervous System Work

Insight is important, but healing often involves more than intellectual understanding.

Together, we gently explore physical sensations, emotions, nervous system responses, embodied experiences, self-discovery, and nervous system awareness to better understand what your body may be communicating.

This work supports greater regulation, integration, and connection, allowing healing to be felt and experienced rather than simply understood.

Depth-Oriented Therapy

As therapy deepens, we may explore recurring emotional themes, protective patterns, relationships, identity, meaning, and the stories shaping your internal landscape.

Insight is approached collaboratively and at a pace that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.

Spiritual & Symbolic Exploration

Psychological healing and spiritual insight are not treated as separate domains in my practice.

For clients who wish to explore them, spiritual, symbolic, intuitive, and existential experiences are welcome in therapy. These conversations are approached with curiosity, discernment, and respect rather than assumption or interpretation.

My approach is grounded in the belief that people are not problems to be fixed. Rather than asking, "What is wrong with you?" I am interested in understanding your experiences, adaptations, and the wisdom they may hold.

All exploration occurs within a trauma-informed psychotherapeutic framework that prioritizes reflection, integration, embodiment, and psychological stability.

Warm, Reflective, & Conversational

Clients often share that this work feels different because of the way they are met within it.

Therapy with me is not rushed or overly clinical. I value genuine curiosity, emotional honesty, and creating enough safety for deeper reflection and meaningful change to emerge naturally over time.

This is a space where you are invited to be human—not perfect. A space to breathe, slow down, and give yourself permission to be exactly where you are.
